The markets are basically flat to slightly down on the open. Gold and silver are getting a little gap open this morning. Do not chase the gap lets see how things settle after the open.

Semiconductors and tech will likely be under some pressure today. I have been saying for the last couple of weeks that we have several gaps on the daily for multiple sectors & indexes that could potentially fill and that a pause or pullback would be healthy. It would not be a shocker if the market were to take a pause if the tax plan is perceived as not likely to get through congress.
