Positive comments from President Xi out of china are giving global equities a lift as we get some concerning headlines out of Washington with President Trump's attorney raided by the FBI and rumors of more potential exits from the current administration. Which headlines will rule the day? Or will there be another headline that trumps everything and determines the mood of todays market? (no pun intended) Issues with Syria and Iran are percolating and they will likely produce some concerning headlines to worry about. Mark Zuckerberg will be getting grilled on the hill today and there are bound to be some good headlines from that event. There will always be something. Which headline will it be that determines the direction of equities as we head into the future? My guess is it will be earnings and guidance that will ultimately determine which direction the markets are headed.
Social media stocks could be active today off this event FB GOOGL MSFT SNAP MEET TWTR MTCH are just a few that come to mind.
Oil prices traded higher as Brent crude futures rose 1.34 percent to trade at $69.57 per barrel, while US WTI crude futures rose 1.34 percent to trade at $64.27 a barrel. USO Hearing Saudi Arabia Is Said To Signal Ambition For $80 Oil Price. Keep an eye on energy names.

4. SMPL earnings beat does not seem to be reacting in premarket sitting on support on the daily could be a day trade or swing play
5. PME pr after the close already ran into this news 34 million in the float has positive cash flow could be a day trade on volume with a 4 roll ... could be a swing on a pull to potential price support around 3.30 and the 200 day
6. INSG potential red to green needs volume and has trouble with 2.25-2.28 area
7. KPTI potential bounce area on the daily pr this morning FDA fast track designation has a decent cash position but burning through a lot of it more of a day trade opp
