In this Alpha Wolf Trading Interview, I speak with CEO Tamir Poleg from The Real Brokerage, most known as REAL in the industry, Stock symbol REAX. In this interview, Tamir shares his background, what led him to Co-found REAL, and what he recognized as an opportunity to make a significant change in the Real Estate industry that has been running the same way for decades. More importantly, Tamir talks about his desire to help the realtors and provide them with more than a physical location to hand their licenses in. Tamir and his team have a vision of streamlining the process of buying any commercial or residential real estate using technology. Tamir believes that the human element will always be a part of real estate transactions. There has been speculation about the demise of realtors for years. The model may change but having a realtor that understands the local market, has been through the process for first-time home buyers, that has the experience to help walk them through the process with comfort should always hold value.
Tamir allows the independent realtor to be part of something bigger and potentially reap the rewards if things go as Tamir has in mind. Tamir and his team want to create a win for the consumer, a victory for the independent agent, and ultimately a success for the entire real estate industry.
REAX must be doing something right even in a rising interest rate environment. (the fastest rise in rates in history within a single year) the last quarter's growth was 168 percent, as many companies' revenues in their industry shrunk. I talk about the stock's technicals, and Tamir shares his view on the economy and the impact, if any, on The Real Brokerage.
