I have followed the S&W Seed Company, and I have traded in and out of its stock for years. I have gotten to know the CEO Mark Wong fairly well throughout that time. Simply stated, he is a brilliant man with an excellent track record for creating value for his shareholders. After watching this interview, I think you will recognize what I like about this story, but in case you do not. I am always available for any questions you may have. Mark holds an MBA from Wharton, is a chemical engineer, and has been in the agricultural business for forty-five years; S&W has a clean cap sheet, and they have several catalysts on the horizon. Mark has assembled a great team and recognizes that he is not the sole reason S&W has a bright future. Mark has orchestrated two sales of companies he previously led to Monsanto for over a billion dollars. I have watched the company grow from alfalfa sprouts to over six crop opportunities: the latest crop announcement is unique and a potential game-changer for some of our farmers. The opportunity is a win-win for the country, our farmers, and our planet because it will reduce the carbon footprint on this particular product. It also takes back market share from China. Anytime we can bring something home and have a superior product at a comparable price, I consider that a huge win. Please do not take it from me.
