The equity markets are showing some strength this morning in premarket as we await some details on what the proposed tax reform might look like later today. The markets could get a lift if the details are what the market wants to hear and there is some reasonable belief that it could actually get done. The dollar is showing some strength again today while gold is pulling back bit and oil is basically flat as we await the petroleum status report later this morning.

Tax reform on the radar
President Trump is set to unveil a much-anticipated tax reform plan this afternoon at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
It is said to have four "very crucial principles," including making the tax code fairer and simpler, cutting taxes for the middle class, lowering the tax rate for businesses and luring offshore investments back into the country, which will create "millions of new jobs for Americans."
