I think I have made it pretty clear how I feel about trading retail stocks but just in case > I am not a fen of retail and I typically try to avoid the space. There may be some good trade opportunities out there in the space but if they are a typical brick and mortar store with no on-line presence I would tread carefully.

The dollar is also showing a little strength in premarket while gold and oil are also slightly green. Bitcoin is taking a hit this morning off of news that Tether , the company behind a dollar-pegged crypto currency widely used in the market's exchange trade, is claiming that its systems have been hacked and that $30 million worth of its tokens have been stolen.

It will likely be a low volume week ahead however in the past this week has had some crazy low float runners. We could see the same type of action again this year since that has already been the theme for the markets over the last couple of weeks. You have to play these size appropriate and make sure you have a clear concise plan for your entry and exit. Even with the holiday on Thursday we still have some economic data that could move the markets including the FOMC minutes on Wednesday.

We have some sectors that are technically breaking down in the short term and it could get more intense in the near future. This does not mean we hit the panic button and abandon ship, It just means we need to be more selective and maybe consider adjusting our position sizing for the trades we take.
